Aggie Sweetheart's partnership with
The Hill Country Children's Advocacy Center
The Hill Country Children's Advocacy Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the most vulnerable citizens in our county. Since 1992, this organization has been improving the community's response to child abuse and creates strategies to correct the inconsistencies in investigations in order to prevent re-victimization of the child. The organization provides medical examinations, forensic interviews, and counseling services for children who have made the outcry of abuse or witnessed a heinous crime.
As Sweethearts, we strive to raise this organization's awareness throughout the student body at Texas A&M by hosting our annual Boot Scootin' Boogie. We get to put on an exciting event that helps students learn about the HCCAC while raising funds for them. This past year, we rose $9,000 through this event! Sweethearts also collects blankets, toys, and books to donate to the HCCAC kids throughout the year and encourages donations at any time.

As Aggies we strive to fulfill the core value of selfless service. As Aggie Sweethearts we strive to go further than that and better every corner of our local community in any way possible.
