Ashlynn Rutherford is serving as one of our Public Relations chairs for the 2024-2025 school year. She is an incoming senior from Belton, TX. Ashlynn is a Communications major and she has a minor in Journalism. She is going into her second year of Sweethearts.

"When I came to A&M as a transfer I was so scared of making new friends in a completely new city. I wasn't sure how to become apart of this huge school but I knew I wanted to be involved in some way. I looked at Greek life and organizations and made friends in my classes to come with me to informationals. When I went to my first Sweethearts informational my mind was made up. After that I knew I had found my place and my community. Though it was nerve wracking going through the sweethearts recruitment, becoming a Sweetheart was the best decision I had made at A&M. I have met all of my best friends and sisters in this organization. It has helped me become confident and be able to be myself in a school that can feel so big. Because of Sweethearts, A&M is my home."
